The Difference Between a Job and a Career
A job is something you do to pay the bills. A career, though, is something you build. It’s like constructing a house brick by brick, each role, skill, and experience adding to the structure. A job might get you through today, but a career is what shapes your future. It’s what you look back on and say, “That’s what I’ve accomplished.” So, when you’re thinking about your next move, don’t just ask, “What’s the job?” Ask, “What’s the next step in my career?”
